German Bean Sprout Stir Fry |

I found this recipe on the back of my package of bean sprouts, and since I did not find it here, I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
4 slices bacon (chopped in small pieces) |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 tablespoon water |
3 tablespoons italian dressing |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 (12 ounce) package fresh bean sprouts |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
chopped parsley |
salt (optional) |
pepper (optional) |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until crisp. 2. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. 3. Mix dressing and vinegar in a separate bowl. 4. When bacon is cooked, drain grease from pan. 5. Add bean sprouts to pan with bacon, and salt and pepper, if desired. Stir fry for 2 minutes. 6. Stir in dressing mixture and soy sauce; then stir in cornstarch mixture. Do not overcook. 7. Remove from pan and sprinkle with parsley. 8. Serve immediately. |
