I was goofing around in the kitchen one evening and trying to think up a dish with both meat and vegetables in it that would taste really, really good. Eventually I came up with this dish. It's really, REALLY good. Try it with soy sauce! Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1/2 cup shredded carrot |
2/3 cup shredded broccoli |
2 slices bread |
2 garlic cloves, crushed into paste |
Directions:
1. Run bread slices through a food processor until turned into crumbs. 2. In a seperate bowl, combine carrots, broccoli, garlic, and ground beef. 3. Once the beef and vegetables have been combined, add and the breadcrumbs and mix well. 4. Place in a cake pan and place in oven preheated to 350 F and cook for 25 minutes. 5. Garden meatballs can be served with rice and steamed vegetables, but hey. It's up to you. |
