Georgia's Sunday Cabbage W/Cream Sauce |

From Girl Scout Stew cookbook. 1988 Ingredients:
1 medium head of cabbage |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped |
4 tablespoons heinz ketchup |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
1/2 cup cream, sauce (recipe included) |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon flour |
1 cup evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Cut cabbage in pieces and boil for 15 minutes. Drain. Mix all other ingredients. Place cabbage in a baking dish and top sauce mixture with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 until bubbly (about 30 minutes.). 2. Cream Sauce: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour until well mixed. Add milk and stir until thick. |
