Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted |
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; make a well in center of mixture. Add eggs and milk; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Add butter and pecans; stir just until blended. 2. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins, filling three-fourths full. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. |
