Bought my first Georgia Peaches of the season yesterday...today they were at just the perfect peak of ripeness to make this delicious treat. Ingredients:
2 small-medium peaches, peeled and roughly chopped |
lemon juice |
1 can (5.5 oz) apricot nectar |
orange juice (add to the nectar to make 1 cup liquid) |
1 cup vanilla ice cream |
3-4 ice cubes |
Directions:
1. Peel the peaches and toss with a small amount of lemon juice to prevent browning. 2. Pour apricot nectar in measuring cup, add orange juice to make 1 cup. 3. Blend peaches, nectar and ice cream, and ice cubes. |
