This is a family recipe, and it is made every Christmas. So good that you have to fight for any leftovers, its that serious... Ingredients:
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons molasses |
1/2 cup corn syrup |
2 tablespoons jack daniels whiskey, whisky |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 pre-baked pie crust |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, molasses, corn syrup, whisky, vanilla and salt. 3. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips. 4. Pour into pie crust and bake 40-45 minutes. 5. Delicious with whip cream. |
