From Captain Murrell's Savory Seafood Recipes cookbook. Ingredients:
3/4 cup cornmeal, self-rising |
1 1/4 cups flour, self-rising |
1 egg |
4 tablespoons sugar |
1 cup milk, sweet |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients together. Add milk, well beaten egg and butter. Beat well; place mixture in greased shallow baking pan and cook in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. |
