Ingredients:
3/4 cup cornmeal, self-rising
1 1/4 cups flour, self-rising
1 egg
4 tablespoons sugar
1 cup milk, sweet
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients together. Add milk, well beaten egg and butter. Beat well; place mixture in greased shallow baking pan and cook in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
