My son really doesn't like nori, so when we have sushi, we make this for him. It's a great way to introduce kids (and fussy adults!) to sushi. Ingredients:
2 cups sushi rice, prepared |
1 carrot, cut into strips |
1/2 cup cream cheese |
Directions:
1. Lay the rice on a bamboo mat, in a rectangle shape. 2. Spread half the cream cheese on the top half of the rice. 3. Top with half the carrot. 4. Roll to form a log. 5. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, then cut into 6 slices. |
