Great raisin sauce for holiday ham. Ingredients:
2 cups water |
1 cup raisins |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Simmer water and cook raisins for 10 minutes to reconstitute. 2. Add sugar and cinnnamon, and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes. 3. Add corn starch and return to heat, and thicken. 4. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice. |
