When my husband and I got married this was in a cook book that we received as a wedding present. I haven't made it in a long time, but remember that it was very good. Ingredients:
1 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup |
1 10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup |
3/4 cup chicken broth |
1/2 10 oz can ro-tel tomatoes with green chile peppers |
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves |
1 11 oz pkg corn tortillas cut into 6 pieces |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 lb cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix together first 4 ingredients and set aside. 3. In a greased 9x13 inch casserole, layer the ingredients in the following order: chicken, tortillas, onions, soup mixture and top with cheese. 4. Bake for 1 hour or unti mixture is bubbly. |
