An awesome steak marinade (works best with flank steak) from Fine Cooking Magazine #105. You really have to try this one! This recipe uses a food processor, however I prepared this by just finely mincing the ingredients and it is still remarkably delicious. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh parsley, coarse chop |
1/3 cup fresh mint, coarse chop |
3 tablespoons fresh rosemary, coarse chop |
8 garlic cloves, peeled |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup olive oil, extra-virgin |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine parsley, mint, rosemary and garlic in food processor and pulse until finely chopped. 2. Add lemon juice, soy sauce, salt & pepper and process until smooth. 3. With the motor running, add olive oil in a thin stream. 4. Pour marinade over steak and turn to coat. 5. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours (I have done as little as 1 hour with good results) or overnight, turning occasionally. |
