                    Simple, easy vegetarian side dish. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 lb green beans  |  
                                                2 teaspoons olive oil  |  
                                                1/2 yellow onion, diced  |  
                                                6 garlic cloves, minced  |  
                                                1/2 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                1/2 teaspoon pepper  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Wash the green beans, remove ends. Add beans to a pot of boiling water, cook for 4 minutes and strain. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add garlic, onion, salt, and pepper and fry for 5 minutes or until onion is translucent. Toss onion mixture with green beans in a bowl and serve.                              |
