Garlicky Fiddlehead Ferns |

I haven't tried this yet but it sounded good. Ingredients:
2 cups fiddleheads, ferns |
1/4 lb butter |
2 garlic cloves, pressed |
1 lemon, juice of |
Directions:
1. Wash and clean fiddleheads. 2. Steam for 10 - 15 minutes. 3. Heat butter in pan and saute garlic gently for a few seconds. 4. Add fiddleheads and continue to saute till tender. 5. Squeeze juice of lemon over all. 6. Cook gently 2 - 3 minutes. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. |
