Garlic Walnut Green Beans |

This recipe was on a bag of garlic bulbs at a produce stand in the state of Washington. Green beans are not always my favorite vegetable, but this recipe makes them very tasty. Ingredients:
1 lb green beans |
8 garlic cloves |
1 chicken bouillon cube |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/3 cup olive oil |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Wash and cut green beans. 2. Steam until al dente. 3. Meanwhile, put peeled garlic cloves, bouillon cube, salt and pepper, and olive oil in blender. 4. Blend until smooth. 5. Drain green beans. 6. Pour oil over beans and toss to coat. 7. Mix in nuts. |
