This came from a local recipe pamplet. Ingredients:
3 small tomatoes, ripe |
1 garlic clove, minced |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
chives, chopped |
5 -6 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled |
toast rounds (tomato slice size) |
Directions:
1. Peel and slice the tomatoes. 2. Cut as many tomato rounds as you have toast rounds. 3. Mix mayonnaise with garlic. 4. Spread on tomatoes. 5. Broil for 3 minutes, until brown. 6. Sprinkle with chives and bacon. 7. Serve. |
