Love garlic? You will love this dish! Ingredients:
4 chicken breast |
olive oil |
1 stick butter |
1/4 cup thinly sliced garlic(about 8 to 10 cloves) |
1 large white onion, chopped fine |
4 oz. sliced or chopped fresh mushrooms |
1 teaspoon fresh chopped basil |
dash creole seasoning |
dash cracked black pepper |
garlic salt |
salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 2. Generously season breast with garlic salt, salt and pepper. 3. Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of a roasting pan. 4. Place chicken in pan and bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked. 5. In skillet, heat butter over medium heat. 6. Add garlic slices and saute' 2 to 3 minutes. 7. Stir in mushrooms and onions and cook until onions are transparent(about 3 to 4 minutes) 8. Add fresh basil and a dash of creole seasoning and cracked black pepper. 9. Remove chicken from oven. 10. Pour garlic sauce over chicken and return chicken to oven. 11. Lower heat to 350 and continue to cook for 5 minutes. 12. Remove from oven. 13. Serve over cooked rice or pasta. |
