This is my mom's not for low cal eaters potatoes. We don't eat it often, but it is delicious Ingredients:
5 potatoes |
6 garlic cloves |
butter (just enough to coat a casserole dish) |
2 pints heavy cream |
Directions:
1. 1. slice potatoes to your preferred thickness 2. 2. slice peeled garlic cloves fairly thin 3. 3. butter a 9 x 12 casserole dish 4. 4. put in one layer of potatoes 5. 5. put in 1/4 of the sliced garlic cloves 6. 6. repeat steps 4 and 5 3 more times. 7. 7. cover all with whip cream. 8. 8. bake at 325 f. for 45 minutes. 9. Add salt and pepper after it is cooked. |
