Heart Healthy Menu Ingredients:
8 oz round steaks |
1/4 tsp garlic powder |
1 onion, quartered |
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch slices |
1/2 yellow squash, cut into 1/2 inch slices |
3/4 cup broccoli florets |
1/2 tsp oregano |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle steaks with pepper and garlic powder 2. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook steaks and onions together for 5 minutes, or until light brown; turn. Arrange bell pepper, squash and broccoli around steaks; sprinkle with oregano. Cover and cook for 8 minutes, or until vegtables are tender and steaks are no longer pink in the center. |
