GARLIC POTATOES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Almond Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
3 pounds potatoes peeled and quartered |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1/2 white onion chopped fine |
4 cloves garlic |
1 tablespoon fresh basil |
Directions:
1. Cook potatoes in boiling water until soft. 2. In small frying pan heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic. 3. Toss potatoes with olive oil mixture then gently stir in basil. |
