A nice change on plain Potato Salad. Tapas is a twist on it!. Add your favorites and tweak it up a little. Good recipe for a change. Ingredients:
1/3 cup miracle whip dressing (more to taste) |
1 tbsp. mustard |
1/2 clove garlic, minced |
1 tsp. ground black pepper |
3 lb. potatoes, peeled, cut into |
1-inch cubes, cooked and cooled |
2 green onions, sliced |
possible adds |
celery or celery seeds |
black olives |
onions |
Directions:
1. MIX dressing, mustard, garlic and pepper in large bowl. 2. ADD potatoes and onions; mix lightly. Cover. 3. REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour before serving. 4. NOTE: Red-skinned or new potatoes are recommended for use in this salad since they cube neatly and readily absorb the dressing. 5. Substitute: if neccessary you can use Real Mayonnaise for the MIRACLE WHIP Dressing. I use Mayo! |
