Tender, delicious pork with a lovely sauce. Ingredients:
1 (4 -5 lb) boneless pork roast |
5 garlic cloves, sliced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup cooking wine |
Directions:
1. Use a pointed knife to make slits around the pork. 2. Push garlic slices into slits. 3. Rub roast with salt and pepper. 4. Put in roasting pan. 5. Bake at 325F degrees for 3 hours. 6. Remove from pan and let stand. 7. Place pan on burner, on high, skim fat. 8. Add water and wine; cook until reduced by half. 9. Serve over slices of roast. |
