This buttery pasta cooks quickly and is a nice changr from regular pasta. It's a superb side dish. The garlic and Parmesan really stand out. Ingredients:
2 c uncooked orzo pasta |
3 tbs minced garlic |
1/2 c butter,melted |
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 c 2% milk |
2 tbs minced fresh parsley |
1 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook orzo according to directions;drain. In a large skillet,saute garlic in butter till tender. Add the orzo,Parmesan cheese,milk ,parsley,salt and pepper. Cook and stir till heated through. |
