If you like mushrooms, you will like these. Great for a party or with steak. These are made on the grill. These mushrooms are not meant to be stuffed with anything. Just mildly flavored. Ingredients:
32 large fresh mushrooms |
1/2 cup olive oil or 1/2 cup vegetable oil |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
Directions:
1. Remove stems from mushrooms, reserve caps. 2. In bowl, combine oil and garlic. 3. Add mushroom caps to oil mixture. 4. Toss to coat. 5. remove mushrooms with slotted spoon and place on sheet of heavy duty foil. 6. Seal edges tightly. 7. Grill over medium hot coals for 10 to 15 minutes. 8. Can add these right on the grill with 10 or 15 minutes before meat is done. 9. Carefully open packet because these will be hot. |
