Garlic Meatballs in Lemon Sauce |

A wonderful appetizer. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
2 slices bread, torn into soft crumbs |
4 cloves minced garlic |
2 tablespoons chopped parsley |
2 tablespoons chopped mint |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon salt |
pepper |
2 eggs |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
2 grated lemons, rind of |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
salt and pepper |
1 tablespoon minced mint |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients for meatballs. 2. Shape into walnut size balls. 3. Place in crockpot. 4. Next, mixt ingredients for the Lemon Sauce and pour this all over meatballs. 5. Cook on Low 4-6 hous. 6. Serve with rice. |
