Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil |
5 garlic cloves, crushed |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper |
1 (28-ounce) can italian-style tomatoes, undrained and coarsely chopped |
4 cups hot cooked linguine (about 8 ounces uncooked pasta) |
1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute. Add basil, salt, peppers, and tomatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken. Serve over pasta; top with cheese. |
