A recipe from Cuisine at Home magazine. For best flavor and to prevent sticking, toss pasta in the oil while the pasta is hot.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb linguine, dry
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded
salt, to taste
Directions:
1. Cook linguine according to package directions in a large pot of boiling, salted water; drain.
2. Heat oil, garlic, pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium-high heat while pasta cooks. Cook until garlic begins to sizzle, about 1 minute, then toss linguine with garlic oil mixture.
