I like these shrimp with corn on the cob, crusty bread, and a salad of summer greens. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
5 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons lime zest |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
10 large uncooked shrimp (in shells) |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. 2. Mix in next 6 ingredients. 3. Sauté for 30 seconds; add shrimp and sauté until opaque in the center turning occasionally for about 3 minutes. 4. Stir in parsley. 5. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Serve. |
