A simple but flavorful way to make fresh green beans. Found this recipe somewhere on the internet a few years ago. Ingredients:
2 lbs green beans |
4 tablespoons olive oil |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
3 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh squeezed only) |
salt and pepper |
grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Steam green beans until tender, then drain. 2. Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat and saute garlic 1 minute. 3. Add beans and turn to coat with oil. 4. Add lemon juice, salt& pepper and mix. 5. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. |
