Garlic, Ham and Mushroom Pasta |

Pasta, ham and mushrooms are served in a creamy garlic sauce for an easy midweek meal. Ingredients:
8 ounces dried pasta shapes |
1 ounce butter |
8 ounces button mushrooms, halved |
1 ounce plain flour |
1 1/4 cups milk |
2/3 cup single cream |
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced |
salt & pepper |
8 ounces ham, diced |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta in boiling, salted water. Drain. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan and fry mushrooms for 2-3 minutes. Add flour. Blend in milk, cream, garlic and seasoning. 2. Bring to the boil, stirring. Add ham and cook for 1-2 minutes. Toss into pasta. |
