This recipe came from an estate sale that I purchased in 1981. My brothers beg me to make this for them. If you love greens, you can't go wrong with this terrific yet very easy recipe. Ingredients:
2 pounds collard greens boiled until tender |
4 tablespoons vegetable oil |
3 tablespoons minced garlic |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper |
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce |
Directions:
1. Drain greens well. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat cook garlic in the vegetable oil until it just begins to brown. 3. Add drained greens then season with salt and pepper. 4. Before serving stir in hot pepper sauce. |
