Garlic Green Beans With Bacon |

These are so yummy. I served them to my gang at Christmas. There were none leftover. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans |
10 slices bacon |
5 -8 garlic cloves, very finely minced |
1/4 cup butter |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Blanch green beans until tender crisp. 2. Flash in ice water to stop cooking. 3. Fry bacon until crisp; chop into 1/2 pieces; set aside. 4. Mince garlic; put into a pyrex measuring cup with the butter. 5. Microwave butter and garlic until butter is melted. 6. Toss beans with garlic and butter in a skillet until heated through. 7. Add bacon. 8. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
