Garlic Green Beans Amandine |

Ingredients:
1 (9-ounce) package frozen french-style green beans |
2 tablespoons sliced almonds |
2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine, melted |
2 cloves garlic, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook beans according to package directions. Drain well, and transfer to a bowl. 2. While beans cook, place a small heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add almonds, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until toasted. Set almonds aside. 3. Combine margarine and remaining 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Pour margarine mixture over beans, tossing gently to coat. Sprinkle with almonds. |
