This is one of our very favorite side dishes. Simple and delicious. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans |
2 cups water |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring beans and water to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. 2. Drain and set beans aside. 3. In lg skillet, saute garlic in butter until light brown. 4. Add beans, salt and pepper. 5. Heat through. |
