This side dish provides a nice little crunch! Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans |
2 tbsp olive oil |
1 tsp chopped garlic |
2 tbsp lemon juice |
salt and freshly ground pepper |
Directions:
1. bring a large pot of salted water to a boil 2. add beans and boil for about 3 to 4 minutes 3. drain and refresh the beans with cold water 4. heat olive oil in a skillet on medium heat 5. add garlic and saute for 30 seconds 6. add the beans, and saute until they are flavored with the garlic 7. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to your taste |
