I love the taste of soy sauce and garlic with green beans. It seem so natural of a union of flavors. This dish is easy and delicious! It goes perfectly with steak, chicken, or pasta. Ingredients:
1 bag frozen whole green beans |
1 stick butter |
8 cloves garlic, sliced |
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
1 small onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. Rinse green beans under warm water to slightly thaw. 2. In large skillet saute garlic and onion in butter for 2 to 3 minutes. 3. Add green beans to pan and cook on med. high for 3 to 4 minutes. 4. Lower heat to simmer. 5. Add soy sauce and cracked pepper. 6. Cover and continue to cook on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes. 7. Serve with favorite meat or casserole. |
