Fish is the ultimate quick-dinner solution for the time-crunched cooks. Cod, Haddock, trout, tilapia or halibut fillets that are about 1 inch think are ideal From : Everyday Favourites, by Canadian Living Ingredients:
1 cup fresh bread crumbs |
2 tbsp butter, melted |
1/2 tsp dried oregano |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1 lb fish fillets |
1 tsp dijon mustard |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, toss together bread crumbs, butter oregano, lemon rind and garlic 2. sprinkle salt and pepper all over fillets; place on greased foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. 3. Brush with Mustard; evenly spoon crumb mixture over top. 4. Bake in 450F (230C) oven until topping is golden and crisp and fish flakes easily when tested, 10 to 15 minutes. 5. Serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over top. |
