This recipe was my favorite ever from my mom. It absolutely pops with flavor...wow! We love how our mouth waters while it finishes cooking. Ingredients:
6 chicken breasts |
1/2 cup garlic clove, minced |
1 1/2 cups vinegar |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
5 tablespoons honey |
2 teaspoons dried red peppers |
2 tablespoons oil |
1/2 cup diced green onion, for garnish |
1/4 cup sesame seeds, for garnish |
2 1/2 cups rice, cooked |
Directions:
1. Cube chicken into bite-seize pieces (about 1 inch). 2. Fry over high heat, stirring often for 3-4 minutes. 3. Add all other ingredients (except garnishes-onion and sesame seeds). 4. Cook on mediun-high 15 minutes or until syrupy. 5. Sprinkle with garnishes. 6. Serve over hot rice. |
