4 1/2 cup(s) water (100 deg) |
1 tablespoon(s) italian seasoning |
1 tablespoon(s) garlic minced |
1/3 cup(s) oil |
1/2 cup(s) honey |
1 tablespoon(s) salt |
2 tablespoon(s) dry yeast |
14 cup(s) bread flour |
parmesan cheese to taste |
garlic powder to taste |
italian seasoning to taste |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in water. Add Honey, oil and seasonings. Allow to set for 5 min. Add salt and flour. Beat on medium for 10 min. Leave dough in mexer bowl and cover with towel. Let rest for 15 min. Beat a few more sec. Repeat 2 more times. This does not allow the dough to rise, but changes the flavor and texture of the bread. Pour onto the floured surface and knead until smooth. Divide into 2 parts. Shape each part into long loaf. Place each loaf on a greased baking sheet. Slash diagonally. Brush each loaf with water or breaten egg. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese to taste. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 350 Deg. F. for 25 to 30 min. Makes 2 loaves or 30 slices. |
