Garlic Crackers With Olive N Cream Cheese Spread |

Great appetizer that my friends and family love! The crackers can be used with any spread or dip. The spread I have used here is best made either the night before or the morning of, and let it chill all night/all day. Ingredients:
crackers |
2 sleeves zesta crackers (the wheat flavor works, too) |
1/2 stick melted butter |
2 t. chopped garlic |
2 t. italian seasoning |

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled |
24 pimiento-stuffed olives, chopped |
4 tablespoons chopped fresh chives |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. For Crackers: 2. Preheat oven to 375 3. Arrange crackers in single rows on cookie sheets 4. Melt butter 5. Stir in seasoning and Garlic 6. Brush butter mixture on crackers 7. Place in oven 4-6 minutes, until lightly browned 8. Remove from cookie sheet to stop cooking process 9. For Spread 10. Combine all ingredients 11. Cover and chill up to 3 days 12. Let stand 30 minutes or until softened |
