something different from plain ol mashed potatoes Ingredients:
6 to 8 peeled yukon gold potatoes |
3 cloves of garlic, peeled and smashed |
1/4 cup of dried chives |
3/4 cup milk |
salted water for boiling potatoes |
1 tbsp butter |
Directions:
1. add potatoes and garlic to salted water (just to cover) 2. boil covered, till very soft 3. drain, but do not remove garlic 4. place back on burner till excess water is absorbed and potatoes are flaky 5. mash 6. add butter, mash 7. add milk, mash 8. stir in chives |
