Garlic Bread With The Works |

A very simple Friday Night dish that would accompany almost anything! Ingredients:
grilled italian loaf or garlic bread from scratch |
garlic unsalted butter & olive oil homemade mixture of course |
fresh ripe tomatoes |
lightly sauteed sweet onions, bacon, green or red peppers |
fresh chopped basil |
hot pepper rings or hot chile peppers cut into thin strips |
lotsa mozzarella cheese |
salt & pepper (find some unusual versions) |
Directions:
1. Prepare bread loaf by cutting in half so no thicker than an inch 2. brush lotsa garlic butter mixture on loaf 3. toast on BBQ or in oven lightly, only butter / oil mixture side 4. add lotsa mozzarella cheese 5. add balance of ingredients to cover evenly 6. add a sprinkle of S&P 7. add a sprinkle more of cheese (try Asiago or something different on the top) |
