garlic bread with extra flavours Ingredients:
1 loaf of french, italian or sourdough bread |
5 tbsps. of butter or margarine, softened |
2 tbsps.finely chopped parsley |
2 green onions finely chopped |
2 cloves minced garlic |
1/2 tsp. dried basil ,crumbled until fine.. |
1/2 tsp. salt |
Directions:
1. pre- heat oven to 450 2. cut the bread diagonally into 1 inch slices, almost to the bottom of the loaf. 3. mix up all of the other ingredients in a bowl and then butter both sides of the slices of bread , and the top crust. 4. wrap the loaf loosely with foil, put on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 mins.. |
