Garlic Black Pepper Shrimp |

From Louisiana aquaculture. Ingredients:
2 lbs jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (leaving tail on is optional but makes for a beautiful presentation) |
8 tablespoons real butter (1 stick no substitute) |
1 tablespoon oregano |
6 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon black pepper |
1 lemon, juiced |
seasoning salt (like season-all) |
warm french bread |
Directions:
1. Season the peeled shrimp with the seasoned salt; set aside. 2. Melt butter in skillet, add shrimp and tossing to cook until pink. Sprinkle lemon juice, oregano, black pepper and garlic over the shrimp. Simmer 12-15 minutes, stirring occassionaly; do not overcook. Adjust salt to taste if needed. 3. Serve with warm French bread to soak up sauce. |
