Made this over the weekend, served it with a beef roast, everyone loved it. Think I'd like to try grilling these. Ingredients:
4 medium tomatoes, sliced |
1/2 c. olive oil |
2 tsp dried basil, or 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil |
1/4 c. balsalmic vinegar |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper |
6 drops red pepper sauce |
Directions:
1. Place tomatoes in shallow dish 2. Shake reaining ingredients in a tightly covered container, pour over tomatoes, cover and chill 3 hours, turn once. |
