Garlic and Thyme Green Beans |

Sometimes the simplest of recipes are the most delicious. Plenty of garlic, some thyme, and really fresh green beans add up to more than the sum of their parts. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed |
2 tablespoons minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, until starting to soften and brown, about 8 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, stirring well. 2. Note: Nutritional analysis is per serving. |
