Garlic and Thyme Green Beans |

Here's a quick & easy way to fix those ol' green beans! The recipe comes from the Sunset Best Recipes 2010 cookbook. Great for those of us who love their garlic! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 1/2 lbs green beans, trimmed |
2 tablespoons garlic, minced |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, then add the beans & cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes, or until they start to soften & brown. 2. Add garlic & cook another 2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat & add remaining ingredients, stirring well. 3. Serve & enjoy! |
