Garden Veggie Salad - Chilled |

This is an easy to make chilled veggie salad, good for summertime meals, potlucks, or even with a regular meal. Ingredients:
14 1/2 oz can french cut green beans |
11 oz. can shoepeg white corn |
14 1/2 oz. can petite peas |
1/4 c. chopped green pepper |
1/4 c. chopped onion |
1/4 c. chopped celery |
1/8 c. chopped pimento |
dressing |
1/2 c. sugar |
1/2 c. vinegar |
1/3 c vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Drain canned vegetables, chop fresh vegetables, place all in a medum sized bowl. 2. Heat sugar, vinegar and oil to boiling, stirring until sugar melts. 3. Pour over vegetables. Chill overnight. 4. Alternate Dressing recipe (makes it sweeter): 5. 1 cup sugar 6. 1/2 cup vinegar 7. 1/2 c. vegetable oil |
