This is apparently ideal to keep earwigs, slugs, snails & slaters at bay. From Bosisto's Eucalyptus Oil site.

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon eucalyptus oil

4 teaspoons canola oil

2 ml liquid dishwashing soap

4 cups water

Directions:

1. Mix ingredients in a spray bottle.
2. Spray around seedlings and at the base of plants.
3. Do not store made up spray and thoroughly wash sprayer after use.
