Basil and parsley spice up this vegetable trio. Land-O-Lakes Cookbook. Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine |
10 ounces sweet whole kernel corn, frozen |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
1 teaspoon basil leaves |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup tomato, ripe and cubed |
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped |
Directions:
1. in 2qt saucepan melt butter. stir in remaining ingredients except tomato and parsley. cover and cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until vegetables are crispy tender. 2. remove from heat. 3. stir in tomato and parsley, cover and let stand 1 minute or until tomato is heated through. 4. serve. |
