Fresh-picked veggies fromĀ your garden or your local farmers' market really add flavor to homemade salsa. Offer no substitute here...store-bought salsa simply won't do! Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2-oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained |
3/4 cup green peppers, diced |
1/3 cup black olives, sliced |
1/3 cup spanish onion, diced |
1/3 cup red onion, diced |
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped |
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 tablespoon lime juice |
2 plum tomatoes, diced |
2 green onions, sliced |
1 jalapeno pepper, diced |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; refrigerate until ready to serve. |
